The short version

My Location is free, requires no account, and does not store your location. Your precise GPS location stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

What we process

When the page loads, our edge function reads your public IP address to show an approximate location — this is processed in memory at Cloudflare’s edge and not logged by us. If you use a tool that needs geocoding or elevation, the coordinates or address are sent to our cached edge proxy (which forwards to OpenStreetMap Nominatim or Open-Meteo) solely to return a result; we don’t attach them to you or retain them.

Browser location

Tools that show precise coordinates use your browser’s geolocation, which always asks your permission first. That location is used only in your browser to render the result; it is never transmitted to or stored by us.

Cookies & analytics

We use local storage only to remember preferences such as your chosen language. We do not sell your data.
