Share my live location
Broadcast your location live, right from this page. Pick how long, tap share, and send the link — whoever opens it watches you move on a map in real time, with no app and no account. It runs while this tab is open and stops automatically when the timer ends.
We’ll ask your browser for location permission when you start. Your live position is sent only while you’re sharing, and only to people who have your link.
The free Android app shares your live location in the background — keep it going with the screen off, choose longer durations, and share with friends by name.
Your live location is visible only to people with the link, updates stop the moment you stop sharing, and everything is deleted automatically when the timer ends.
How to share your live location from your browser
- Choose how long to share, then tap Share my live location and allow the browser’s location prompt.
- We start broadcasting your position and build a private link — your dot appears on the map and updates as you move.
- Copy the link or use the share button to send it. The person who opens it watches you live; tap Stop sharing any time, or let the timer end it.
Browser sharing vs. the app
Sharing here runs while this tab stays open and lasts up to four hours — ideal for a quick “I’m on my way”. For longer trips or hands-off sharing, the free My Location app broadcasts in the background with the screen off, supports durations up to 24 hours, and lets you share with friends by name. See the full live location guide.
Is sharing my live location private?
Yes. Your position is broadcast only after you tap share, only to people who have the link, and only while you’re sharing. Stop at any time and the dot goes offline immediately; when the timer ends, the channel and your last position are deleted automatically. The link is never listed or indexed, and we don’t keep a history of where you’ve been.
